Serafina Concannon and Katy Zendeh Promoted to Members of the Firm

Caplin & Drysdale is pleased to announce that Serafina Concannon and Katy Zendeh have been elected to Member of the Firm effective October 1, 2025. Both attorneys are part of the Bankruptcy and Complex Litigation practice groups. Congratulations Serafina and Katy!

Ms. Concannon advises individuals and corporate clients on all aspects of litigation at both the state and federal level. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Concannon works to protect the rights and interests of tort claimants and other creditors in mass tort bankruptcies.  Currently, Ms. Concannon represents creditor groups and committees and a trust in a number of asbestos, talc, and pharmaceutical bankruptcies, including In re Purdue Pharma L.P., In re Mallinckrodt plc, In re DBMP LLC, In re Aldrich Pump LLC, In re Whittaker, Clark & Daniels, Inc., and In re Valves & Controls US, Inc.

Ms. Concannon is experienced in a variety of practice areas, including in contractual disputes, fraud, structured finance, cross-border litigation and arbitration, intellectual property, and internal and governmental investigations.  Ms. Concannon has been an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center since 2021, where she teaches two litigation-focused courses. Prior to joining Caplin & Drysdale, Ms. Concannon practiced complex commercial litigation and investigations at an international law firm in Washington, D.C. and New York.

Ms. Zendeh represents both individual and corporate clients in state and federal matters across the country. Her practice centers around complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on bankruptcy litigation. In particular, she works to protect the rights and interests of creditors, tort claimants, and official creditors’ committees in mass tort bankruptcies and other bankruptcy cases involving substantial liabilities. While at University of Texas School of Law, Ms. Zendeh was the Managing Editor of The Review of Litigation and was a National Appellate Advocacy Competition Regional Semifinalist. She served as a student attorney with the University of Texas Domestic Violence Clinic representing victims of domestic violence with a variety of civil legal problems. Ms. Zendeh also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.
