Conversations with Caplin Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Visit to Mexican Geniuses Exhibit

10.06.2022

Conversations with Caplin takes a field trip! On October 6, 2022 Caplin & Drysdale’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee hosted an event for Hispanic Heritage Month with a visit to the Mexican Geniuses exhibit Taqueria Las Gemelas for happy hour afterwards where we discussed the exhibit. The immersive Mexican Geniuses exhibit celebrated the works for Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera and combined art and technology. Taqueria Las Gemelas is a restaurant in a contemporary market celebrating Latin American culture called La Cosecha that is part of Union Market. In addition to the event works by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera were hung around the office along with descriptions of each piece and it's cultural significance.

As part of a broader diversity initiative the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will be hosting more Conversations with Caplin programs in 2023.  Please stay turned for future program announcements.
