Firm Release

Caplin & Drysdale is pleased to welcome Charles T. Plambeck to the firm’s International Tax practice. Charles Plambeck rejoins Caplin & Drysdale as Of Counsel after 28 years at major money center banks working on a host of cross border issues, including cross-border structured finance.

“We are delighted to welcome back Charles to Caplin & Drysdale. His decades of leadership in the financial sector and deep knowledge of international tax will be an invaluable resource to our clients as they navigate today’s increasingly complex global landscape,” said H. David Rosenbloom an International Tax Member at Caplin & Drysdale.

For the last 24 years, Mr. Plambeck was a Managing Director at Citigroup, and before that at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. Mr. Plambeck will draw on that experience and his expansive knowledge of international tax—particularly its intersections with banking regulation, accounting, credit markets and other fields—to assist the firm’s clients. At Caplin & Drysdale, Mr. Plambeck will advise leading financial institutions and multinational corporations on a broad range of complex international tax issues. He will represent clients on transactions, planning, audits and appeals, advance pricing agreements (APAs), and mutual agreement procedures (MAPs).
