Bloomberg BNA

Bloomberg BNA spoke with H. David Rosenbloom concerning the U.S. Treasury's announcement on June 22 that good efforts are being made to amend the language in the Luxembourg-U.S. tax treaty which would block companies from evading taxes in both counties. Mr. Rosenbloom commented how both the U.S. and Luxembourg should consider a competent authority agreement. “The problem is the way they interpret the permanent establishment language,” Mr.  Rosenbloom said. “If that's the problem, it doesn't require a protocol to fix.” To view the complete article, please visit Bloomberg BNA's website (subscription required).
