Scott D. Michel was quoted by The Wall Street Journal concerning federal courts that have approved summonses in seven cases against U.S. financial institutions seeking the identifies of Norwegians suspected of evading taxes in Norway.  The summonses are important because the U.S. has been criticized by some for serving as a tax haven for citizens of other countries.  "This sends a signal that the U.S. is prepared to help other countries in the same way that we are asking them to help us," said Scott Michel.  Please visit The Wall Street Journal's website for the full story.
