Olivia Marshall is an Associate in the firm’s Political Law Group.
Ms. Marshall works with senior attorneys in the Group to guide clients through the complex federal, state, and local laws that govern political activity, including:

advising on the reporting requirements related to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA);

responding to political law complaints, inquiries, and audits from enforcement agencies; and
-
counseling political candidates, for-profit entities, and nonprofit organizations on a variety of political law issues.
Highlights
Prior to joining Caplin & Drysdale, Ms. Marshall served as a Law Clerk to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. During law school, she was the Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law and worked for the Criminal Law Clinic.
Ms. Marshall is proficient in French.
