In collaboration with the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the national association of corporate counsel, and its DC chapter, WMACCA, William M. Klimon will take part in a series of live webcasts to be presented nationally. The four-part series, titled "The Opportunities and Disruptive Potential of the Impact Economy," is a customized beginner's guide for experienced lawyers, financial officers, and development professionals. Mr. Klimon's live webcast, "Impact: Legal Structures," will explore a variety of legal structures that are currently being embraced by social entrepreneurs—including newer social enterprise vehicles like benefit corps, LC3s, B corp certification, and flexible purpose corporations—and discuss their associated governance, tax, and practical implications.
