Caplin & Drysdale Builds for a Cause

07.10.2015

Who says Caplin & Drysdale doesn't get down and dirty!!!  A crew of attorneys and support staff came together on July 9, 2015 to help Washington, D.C., families achieve the goal of home ownership.  Through Buildable Hours, a nonprofit co-founded by Member Scott D. Michel, the crew got to work on three separate buildings putting in stairways, installing siding on the exteriors, framing windows, and putting down pavers for a driveway.  "Habit for Humanity and Buildable Hours do great work to provide beautiful, cutting-edge, energy-efficient homes to underserved families and communities," said Ria Caldwell, a Summer Associate with the firm.  "It was extremely gratifying to create something that will enhance the lives of families, maybe for generations to come."
