"Caplin Cares" Supports Cycle for Survival

01.23.2017

Caplin & Drysdale kicks off 2017 by donating over $1,000 to Cycle for Survival hosted by Equinox and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Eugenia Benetos, a staff member in the firm’s New York office, will ride relay style on a stationary bike with her Cycle for Survival team "The Flow Riders" this February. Ms. Benetos, whose family has been touched by cancer, said, “Through perseverance, support of family and friends, diligence to one’s health routine and fundraising goals, we can make great strides in what we once thought was impossible; curing rare cancers.”

Founded in 2007, Cycle for Survival is now an official Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) event where indoor cycling teams raise money for lifesaving rare cancer research. MSK is the world’s largest private cancer center and since 1884, they have made conquering cancer their sole mission. Equinox, a health club with over 80 locations across the U.S., has been a partner with Cycle for Survival from the very beginning serving as the host for all the cycling events. This year 21 Equinox clubs across 16 U.S. cities will host Cycle for Survival rides.
