Trevor Potter Comments on Republican-Leaning Groups' Expenditures in Congressional Elections

Trevor Potter, former FEC Commissioner and head of Caplin & Drysdale's Political Activity Law practice, comments on corporate campaign spending of Republican groups, as they benefit from the Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling. Many are organized as nonprofit issue groups, and therefore don't have to report donors. They can also take unlimited contributions from corporations, unions and individuals.
