William Fournier is an associate in Caplin & Drysdale's Washington, D.C. office. He joined the firm in 2011.
Services
Mr. Fournier provides comprehensive legal advice to tax-exempt organizations. He regularly advises private foundations and public charities, including educational institutions, hospitals, and religious organizations, on a variety of legal matters including qualification for tax-exempt status, corporate governance, compliance with charitable solicitation laws, executive compensation, endowment management and grantmaking. Mr. Fournier also works with the private client group advising clients with estate planning and tax controversy issues.
Highlights
Prior to law school, Mr. Fournier served as a Nuclear Submarine Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. During his service he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
