James P. Wehner is Of Counsel in Caplin & Drysdale's Washington, D.C. office. He joined the firm's litigation group in 2005. Mr. Wehner's principal practice area is complex civil litigation, with a focus on bankruptcy and creditors' rights litigation.
Mr. Wehner also has extensive experience in insurance coverage, antitrust, intellectual property, and fraud litigation, and in disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions. His cases have involved him in a variety of industries, from consumer financial products and insurance to telecommunications, information technology services, auto parts and steel.
In the course of his work, Mr. Wehner has appeared before federal and state courts across the country and before domestic and international arbitral panels.
