A Primer on the IRS Disciplinary Process. (Ethics) Practice before the IRS comes with rules, and the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) has oversight over those rules. OPR enforcement can whether in the form of voluntary self-correction, reprimand or censure, or even suspension from practice or disbarment.
